Since THC is fat-soluble, the green leaf water infusion does not induce a high, in contrast to its smoked form.

There are reports of the effects of the drug being conducive to improving eyesight, though this has not been medically proven.

To experience the cannabis tea's mild to potent psychoactivity, take a few grams of the cannabis buds and boil them in a small quantity of milk.

Even low fat milk contains enough lipids to activate THC for absorption by the body.

Using about 50 ml of low fat milk and 100-150 ml of water, add cannabis as desired.

In most cases, this is approximately equal to the quantity used in a joint, i.e. 0.5 g to 1 g; excessive amounts may be undesirable to some users.

Boil for between 10 and 15 minutes until the milk becomes an off-tint, brown, khaki colour.

In many cases, the taste can be sharp and abrasive. Additionally, the flavonoids will cause a burning sensation in the throat and on the tongue.

This recipe makes enough cannabis tea for the equivalent of one shot, which may be consumed in one or two sessions.

Dang illegal you're a wealth of good information.

What a about beer? Do you have any thoughts on this? I have a buddy who's been doing home brew for over 15 years now. He told me that if I could come up with a recipe for cannabis beer he'd brew it.

Sorry kl1ane didn't mean to hijack your thread.

Peace

Here is some more info.  Remember that hemp and hops are related.  I'm guess that is part of the reason beer can get skunky.

I've been thinking of stirring cannabutter into things like chicken broth and hot chocolate that have some fat in them. Maybe make canna-Cocoa butter and use in chocolate sauce/syrup?

Technically if you have cannabutter you are already there.

You could easily do chocolate though!  Cocoa butter is really high fat.  And chocolate keeps well in the fridge.  Might even help with the taste.

The mention in the beer article about washing the weed first is interesting.  Anyone do this?

I've never heard of anyone washing their weed. They are right in the article, washing with cold water will cause the glands to seperate from the vegetable matter.  That's the idea behind blender hash.  Blending with ice water to cause the glands to seperate, passing through a fine screen to capture the glands, then draining through a coffee filter to remove the glands from the water.  I would think washing could waste many the glands.  Even excessive handling can cause glands to fracture and break off.

I had some people complain that I left too many leaves on my buds.  I had to explain to them that not only did those leaves protect the THC glands on the buds and keep them from falling off but they were also covered with glands themselves.  Actually had them look at them under a magnifying glass so they could see for themselves.

Weed gets you through times of no money better than money gets you through times of no weed.

i used to make bud tea but it doesn't get you high, i never used milk though, it tastes good if you brew it like ice tea and is just something to do after extracting the trichs from the clippings. For beer making you would either want to do a late infusion or add the clipping in as a sub for some of the barley during the brew. I would think that if you made a high gravity say honey wheat beer and and then after you fermented it, you added a sort of between stage and tossed a bunch of bud and clippings in before you racked it off but while it had a bit of alcohol it would be effective in dissolving a small portion of the thc and getting you a nice buzz when you drink it later. I used to brew beer, it is a good hoby

Reality is a crutch for people that don't do drugs. People that do drugs end up having drugs do them. Do you consider Cannabis a drug? If not, which is doing the other?
NOTE: This is just some bull shit to make you think! I am just making everything up,
don't take me seriously....Or should you? WTF, did you actually just read all of this ramble?

A friend of mine made some beer with a homebrew kit and he just added the weed before fermenting. Tasted good and the three of us were wasted after a couple of pints within an hour. Dont know if it was the beer or the weed, but we all had watery bowels the next day   Embarrassed .  Ah well......no pain no gain.
