Wanted to try this, but had no crackers  Sad, so I used tortilla chips, put a slice of cheese on top of them, and put about 1g of bud on it then put another slice of cheese ontop of that. These are what they looked like, and the taste was fine. Just ate them, will post again later on how it went. (Sorry for bad picture, it was taken on a phone  Grin)

Worked really well, high lasted for 5 and a half hours, I took more than I should have, didn't want to be that high since I was getting my haircut around the third hour of being high, where the effects were still intense. This was my first edible.

thats the prob with marinol/edibles and all other non-smoked/vaped ways of consuming cannabis.  you can't titrate the dose because of the hour wait for it to kick in so you either under-dose or over-dose and its a pain... i've had many experiences taking way too much edibles or way too little... then again i have used the right amount a few times but definitely take too much the majority of the time.

I just ate a gram of that outdoor bud sandwiched between mild cheddar thinly sliced, put on top of salted crackers and microwaved for about 30 secs. the buds are fluffy, so I ended up with 3 great tasting crackers. waiting for the effects

took a good hour and a half to kick in, I don't know exactly how long the high did last though. I had a few drinks with the guys around 3 and a half hours after eating the crackers and then we smoked a few bowls. I was nicely fucked from about 9 to 2-3 am, when I went to bed... took a while to notice any effects. I was happier, my body felt a little weird, the music I was listening to felt more intense, and supper tasted better than normal. it eventually felt like I had smoked a lot and I couldn't stop smiling. nothing extraordinary, similar to smoking without the head rush. definitely fun. I'll do more sometime

yeah edibles ALWAYS make me sedated/couch-locked... i wonder if i used a sativa dominant strain if it would still be so sedating...?

or is it just the process and heating and everything changes the way the cannabinoids hit you and regardless of the strain edibles will be sedating and not speedy like smoking haze for example.

The brownies I made last year from White Widow weren't all that sedating.  I got out and worked in the yard and garage and had lots of energy.  I'll make some this year from the Columbian Red Haze.  It will be interesting to see the difference.

I eat a lot and have found that the longer I process the butter the better the effects. for instance if I use jack herer leaves and butter , Its very rarified and almost slightly trippy if i use a Low heat cooker for 24 hours. I  am  looking 4wards to trying columbian red haze this next few months also Kali mist which I believe the leaves will make excellent butter. I enjoyed reading your smoke report muddy the other day on columbian red haze. . I am also going to cross these two these with "angel dust " from growdoc seeds. angel dust is known to be a good medical plant and  utilise this to make  tincture as my wake and bake day medicine.   Im looking at mummia ( rock bud x jack herer ) and ADHD ( rockbud x jack herer x angeldust as my evening indica  tincture.

I am wondering how Lowryder2 x columbian red haze would go together. I have a freind who is helping with this so I shall let you know .

I'm not sure what you would get from crossing a full size plant with a Low Ryder.  I would think that you would have to grow out a lot of seeds and look for the ones that autoflowered and had other desired characteristics.  It would probably take several generations to produce a stabilized plant. That's something I'd like to experiment with at some point.  I've got a little LR II here.  I'll have to blend it with some CRH and see how it smokes.  I've blended it with White Widow and it produces a real nice high.
