If your plant isn't feeling to healthy this is the forum to get advice in.

Please make sure you include:

-The strain you are growing (if you know)
-If you are growing indoors, outdoors, or hydroponically.
-What type of soil or nutrient mix used.
-What fertalizers or organic nutes have been used.
-And of course whats wrong with the plant.  (but be detailed)
               -Is the plant drooping down?
-Are the leaves getting burnt on the edges?
-Be specific about the problem, and you will get a better and quicker response.

Hopefully everyone's plants will stay healthy and this forum will never be used, but that is a not a reality, so post your plant's problems ASAP so we can help get your plant back to health!

Hi, I have just recently sign up to the forum and posted pics but will do again on this page. This is my first time at growing and could use some help. I am growing Nirvana's Northern Lights and i am growing indoors, well in a sunbed and have got a 600 watt High pressure sodium light, i also use the UV lights in the sunbed. I am using westplus advanced soil and miracle grow for veg because of the high (N) rating, not sure if that ok, and tomato food for bloom i am just waiting for some other food for bloom but meanwhile i am left with this problem: the leaves are turning yellow on the outside edge and would say they are drooping a little but even the yellow bits feel pretty strong and not brittle, the stems are also red and have been for some time. I am new to the forum and growing so any info would b helpful i have read many books but none are specific about when exactly to feed the plants i feed them 1 a week and water every 3 days is this ok? thanks for any info in advanced.

First, make sure you are using miconutrients at least once every three weeks; follow instructions on feeding. Check and make sure youve got adequete ventilation. Are you using magnesium? good source is epsoms salt half tsp to gallon of water. Check your soil ph, is it to high or to low. If it is to high or to low maybe the plants cant use nutrients. The ph range for soil is 6-7. some plants like more alkaline some like more acidic depends. If none of these, then try flushing soil you probably got to many fertilizer salts. best use organic ferts try earth bloom heard its good.

Hi there, thanks for the reply i haven't been online just lately. i have bought a cheap ph testing kit and found that my ph is at 5, i have 2 plants in there now and they are both showing signs of ph deficiency, so i have flushed the soil as they were both on 5 they are now back o around 6, i am going to get some lime soon and slowly raise it a bit higher but for now the new growth is looking healthy so hope it will be ok till i can get some lime.

I am using the Sensi Bloom 2 part feed and only that for flowering, and just 1 other feed for the veg cycle. I am having problems with feeding as i am new to this and was wondering if you could please help. i mix my feed up every 2 litre containers and then will repeat if any more feed is needed. it says on the feed to mix 1.7ml to 1L so i mix 3ml to 2L and feed every week and water once or twice a week depending if the soil has dried, is this ok or could you give advice on a better feeding plan.

Also my plants are in a stabd up sunbed with a 600w HPS using the big fan on the sunbed to suck the hot air out, as it is pretty powerfull i can put the plants pretty much as close as i want to light with no burn affects but i still keep them at a distance. i have one of those oil heated radiators in there  aswell, and with the fan and radiator being on timers i can control the temp in there, i also have a black sheet covering the front completely to light proof it. Do you think that with just the fan sucking out and with the vents at the bootom of the sunbed that is an ok air flow or would you recommend a change? many thanks in advance and thanks for the reply, i hope that you can also help with my indoor grow as and when i come across problems as i am on my own with this with and could use a hand? thanks again.
