I smoke outside like 99% of the time... when I smoke in a car, I just open up the windows a little and drive around to clear the smoke. I smoked in the basement of the parent's house once, when they weren't there, and just left the windows open for the night.

I don't do anything. It's my house so I don't care if it smells. My wife has burned scented candles but I'm allergic to scents so they only end up making me sneeze.

Depends on where I am smoking. If its in my car, crack the windows while smoking and attempt to blow smoke out. Then wind them down all the way to air out. Then when I go to park I spray Febreeze. Then if I think I still smell or where I cant get caught, put on colon too.
If its on my backporch, open the windows and turn on the fan and point it to the windows. Then just blow the smoke into the fan and it takes it out the window since we sit on the couch the the windows are on the other side of the room. Then the room smells afterwards, so just open all the windows, theres like 9. Then I place the fan in the corner and it blows the smell out the windows. Takes about an hour or two to air out.
Any where else and it doesnt really matter. Only thing I worry about it if I smell...

When the human children were small, we cracked our bedroom window and put a stand fan on the floor, on high right in front of it, pointing out...casement windows, depending on which way the wind was blowing. Air from the house came in under the bdrm door. This worked like a charm, there was no duct system to distribute the smell in that house. (brrr tho, had to run a little space heater in winter when we toked up (do we still say toked up?)
Also, when everyone was fast asleep,..and we smoked in the kitchen or living room, we turned on the kitchen fan, high, ...sometimes cracked a window w/ fan set-up like in bdrm. I have used a bowl of white vinegar and left it in the room overnight; it will absorb odor.
I've used plenty of OZIUM in my day. Get the big size, it does last and is quite effective for those emergency situations when someone rudely (lol!) drops in (neighbors).
Now I have himalayan salt lamps from solaywellness.com that deodorize and clean the air by releasing neg ions. If it is warm out, I still will use a fan if there is no wind to aptly aim the windows so the room gets aired out for free.
Bathroom fan, kitchen fan, ...or floor fan...moving air around helps.
What is really great for smell is ZEOLITE, a naturally-deodorizing rock that is mined and sold in different sizes. It is even used industrially; it is remarkable in all it can do. Everyone should google it, check it out. I have several 1lb net bags of rocks in all my grow areas, ...zeolite absorbs gasses, and can even be used in the fridge. (It will make your produce last longer...it absorbs the gasses like "green bags" do, but zeolite lasts forever.) You can recharge it by soaking it in a salt water solution, or putting it in the sunshine, or putting it in the oven. (Like once a year for bean-sized rocks). Basically, it is a very "green" air cleaner as it will last longer than you will and uses no electricity either. It is really an excellent product. When you find it, be aware that the smaller the rocks, the more frequently they will need recharging. Some people buy zeolite in the fish supply dept that is cheaper than the bean-sized rocks. However, (throat-clearing) I'm not that great at maintaining....so the convenience of lasting longer between "recharges" is worth the higher price to me. Years ago, I found mine in bulk (case-12) for about 7/bag, prebagged in net bags. Maybe you could split some with someone, but you can also use them everywhere in your home....under the sofa, under the bed, by the litterbox, in the laundry room, in a storage closet, in the car, .....etc. They are awesome. (No, I don't have a financial interest, lol, I know this sounds like an infomercial!) I think they would be ideal if you were sharing a house, a hallway, or were living in an apt or condo.
Zeolite is great for those of us with allergies or chemical sensitivities....and it is non-toxic too.
I got mine online from some company but my friend found some on ebay just recently. Ok, I'll stop now.

sounds like pretty good deodorizer to me... kitchen fan... makes me think about the time my parents weren't around for a few days and my brother, a few friends and I did hot knives on the Wolf gas range... we turned the fan on after every exhale to send the clouds of smoke outside and not stink up the whole house

I do pretty much nuthin. If I am in a place that requires the smell to disappear, then I use "Zero" located in bed bath and beyond, or where ever you can find the product. Has always worked for me when I wanted to toke inside an unfamilar place. I would use zero then sumthin else with a perfume scent. Works very well all the time. Oh and I also use my brain

lol@Muddy..K+man haha..."its my house, i dont care." is my sentiment as well..I do have a bottle of "auto expressions-new car smell" in the vehicle..best stuff ive ever found commercially..as for the home, marijuana smoke doesnt "stick" like cigarette smoke, so as said, unless in a small area, it goes away..
