7 of the 8 new plants have already popped out of the ground... and 4 r already working on their first set of leaves!
The "recovery" plant is really looking good... the little bit of wind it has been getting seems to have really made it strong, and the new leaves look great... already working on it's next set!

That's good news. Have to say I'm surprised they sprouted so quickly with the seeds being that deep. Learned something new. Air movement really does help a lot to strengthen them.

Wonderful. I never fill my pots all the way to the top. I leave it about an inch or so lower so I can add some more soil after they are up to support the stalks. |

OK my recovering plant's leaves are browning at the tips... idk wut that means but I am going to try to flush it again... Wut u guys think about repotting all together? That way I could just give it some fresh dirt...

your stressing your plants a little too much..i'd just quit watering for a day or 2-or just give them a little bottled water until it clears up-the tips turning brown isnt that bad...as long as its just the tips.

I bought some organic fertilizer for my vegetable garden... it is 8-0-0... Would this help my weed plant at all?

depends what stage of growth you're in.If still vege-then thatll be great.If flowering-not so much.Remember-Nitrogen in vege, Potassium in flower...i only used blood meal during my vege and they sprug right up-it was 12-0-0

if you're asking if its okay for the round leaves to turn color-then yes.Eventually they fall off as will some of the other lower leaves.But if your plants are a week or two old, then no..but you shouldnt use any ferts for the first 2 weeks anyways...

Those little round leaves are generally called seed leaves. They always die off. Usually the first real leaves, which are almost always just 1 finger will also die off. That's pretty normal. |

Storms today so probably no good sun for the babies
I know my plants r young but I put them outside during the nice days... they already look excellent... better than the others ever did... They have big wide first sets of leaves and the second set r coming in real nice on most. There is one that died because the seed leaves would not open up for some reason... there was no seed or anything keeping it shut....

I keep my babies in a fire pit (for safety) in a grown up area outside. I had not been able to see them in a couple days due to a sprained ankle in which I could barely walk around the house. There was a terrible storm a couple days ago and I could not get to the plants to take them inside. After the storm I just knew they would be dead or gone completely. I went out there yesterday and they are doing excellent! That fire pit works great from keeping the wind from hitting them too hard. My plants are only about 6" tall and have 4-5 sets of beautiful leaves. I can already smell a slight skunky smell when i smell them. I didn't think they would start smelling til they started flowering?
I will post pics as soon as I can get ahold of my girl's camera! lol

Well usaly no , i dont smell anything that resembles a smoke at that age But i did have a seed from a trip to amsterdam and it did give off a reminder smell at around 6inchs . Fair play if you are . will grow up to be a nice smoke .
