Just wanted to thank everyone for stepping up these last few weeks and getting CHQ going again.  For awhile there the activity was so slow that I was concerned we would die a slow death but thanks to everyone pitching in and getting things moving again.

Know part of it is situational.   Health, broke ass computer, kids out of school, and hard to access sites like this with them hanging over shoulder, real life obligations, caught up in various causes (working the PUFMM movement down here in FL as of late), etc...

Just glad to see the increase in activity.

And...do not be afraid to take information from other sites, and pass along to the CHQ crew as there are a lot of good/like minded folks who stay in their own areas, and are working/sharing the same info we have in here.  Send em an invite, and vice-versa, sign up to those other groups, and do a bit of CHQ promoting there.

OH....GO RED WINGS!!!!!!!!!! (one down, three to go)

Prop,

thanks for showing up for the roll call.

The local hockey team here is the Predators ( known as the only subsidized team in the league Grin)

The best game to see is always the RED WINGS-- the only game guaranteed to be sold out. I dont bash em when they come in beacuse they are a real hockey team that always has a playoff shot while the Preds only sneak in at the last minute so they can be served up as sacrificial Lambs to the Sharks or Ducks.

Hockey is about the only stable/long term thing the folks up in Michigan have to be proud of. No matter how long I have been away from the old hometown (and will never return), I will always be a Red Wings fan.

Another win for the wings!

i really dont understand hockey since we dont have it down here as far as in school or youth leagues.but, i do watch it everynow and then and i always want the red wings to win even though i know nothing about them except that they're from detroit.I just like the red wing boots so i always favor them.

Lol, NOLA has a hockey team for live 10 seconds..okay, it was a lil longer..I believe they were called the Brass.  I went to one game with a guy I worked with back in 2001 and he spat in my face when I broke up with him the night of the game because things were getting weird in the workplace..and for that reason alone, I do not care too much for hockey anymore.  Roll Eyes

Well...please don't base your opinions of all hockey fans on the actions of that one DB.  Most are great (and very rowdy) people, however we have been known to fight over stupid stuff, but all end up buying beers afterwards, so guess it all works out. Even with all the misplaced northerners down on my patch of the beach in FL, hockey is a foreign word to them.  (glad the Orlando Magic are doing well this year, as at least they get that game...lol)

Peace and lots of green!

Go Wings!

For me--not much to watch on TV

but in person with beer and the fights--its all the way LIVE.

My sport would taste tester marathon at Hempfest!

Or the THC crawl in amsterdam!
