Ok so i was thinking of going organic on my next grow. although i have a few questions. first what happens if your plant becomes nutrient deficient, i mean are there liquid organics that you can add? also i want to add an automated watering system with a moisture tester. where would i get one and how does it work/ set up. it will really help because now that i had to move my box to another location i cant always go there sometimes only every 5-6 days and so far its been ok it just gets realy dry after a few days. so as i said i need organic ideas/ with any ideas or suggestions on what i should use, and i need the moisture system/ also any ideas or suggestions of where and how. any help really appreciated.peace to all. Huh Wink

Site that sell hydroponic equipment would be a good place to start.  I don't use them but have seen them while surfing around.  I'm sure others will have more specific info.

As far as organic, that's how I grow.  You can usually buy Miracle Grow Organics locally.  I've used their bone and blood meal in outdoor soil grows, both in pots and in the ground.  Lots of good liquid nutes available from local hydro stores or on the web.  This year I used Fox Farms Grow Big for veg and their Tiger Bloom for flowering, both with good results.

depends on how you use them. dont add anything to the MG organic at first. Then when you transplant, add a little blood meal to the soil. Then as it gets bigger, you can sprinkle some blood meal on top and water it down. If you transplant again-do the same thing with the bone meal.If not-just flush it out, and sprinkle the bone meal on top.you still might need other nutes such as mag and other secondary nutes.

My plan this year was to mix blood meal into the soil when I transplanted and then use liquid nutes for veg until flowering.  Then add bone meal and again use liquid nutes for flowering.  We had so much rain I really wasn't able to use the liquid nutes much so I did add more bone meal during flowering.  The liquid nutes do add other trace elements and secondary nutes as DevilDawg said and are important.  Dawg and I are about the only ones here that use blood/bone meal.  Most everyone else is using some form of liquid nutes.  Most of the better ones are organic.

Outside of the Miracle Grow Organics I doubt you'll find anything useful in those places.  Most everything they have is chemical based.  Check here.  http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/plant-nutrients-c-81.html  You can two quart bottles of Fox Farms with shipping for under $30.  They also have many other brands.  I checked around and so far they have the cheapest prices and shipping.  Got my order in 3-4 days.
