I think the people that did these stupid things would have probably done them without herb. Some people are just dumb. I know a few people that if they smoked, they'd probably turn into a carrot. Everyone should really know that marijuana prohibition was rooted in hate for people (that's called racism kiddies) not for the plant. If people tried to criminalize another plant using the same tactics as they did back then to criminalize pot, someone would face a lawsuit for racism. I was arrested by a cop last week over a warrant issue. and we pretty much talked about how everything terrible he's seen was alcohol and hard-drug related and that the only problem with pot is its legal issues. He stated that he feels bad for having to bring in decent people over cannabis issues when he knows just by his experiences that the legal things are so much worse to deal with. He says that a lot of cops and even some DEA officials feel the same way. I said, "It's probably because they themselves smoke or had smoked the shit and know the truth."
Yep, it all started down in Texas because people there didn't want Mexicans taking their jobs. So they made weed illegal and then busted the Mexicans who used it.
I got busted this year when someone dropped a dime on me. Cops pulled all my plants. I cooperated and they were decent about the whole thing. One cop even complimented me, saying they were the best looking plants he had seen and telling my wife I had a green thumb. They know it's harmless but still have to enforce the laws.
