Easiest and most effective way to clean your pieces!

rubbing alcohol works pretty well if you ask me. you just have to clean your piece every couple grams so you don't get too much buildup

Using rubbing alcohol and salt works really well. the local glass shop sells this stuff called "420 cleaner" it's the exact same thing except they make it smells like blue berries. Works great on my pipes. Though I have one hard to clean pipe and I didn't clean it for awhile. Which sucks cause it's clear. But it got everything off except that one spot.

Wondering how it will work on my new bong .

sounds like a good cleaner, but, rubbing alcohol, salt and water is probably cheaper

Yea. A clean bong or pipe definately will get you higher. Most people don't
realize how much they are loosing smoking out of a device where resin
has been allowed to build up. I know in a small metal pipe if its not clean
alot of the stuff will cling to the pipe instead of making it to the lungs.
On that note does anyone have a good method to clean the stainless
steel pipes or is it alcohol for those also ?

I just recently tried to make my bong spotless.  Failed...

Used some shit called simple green with lots of hot water and shaking.  It cleaned the bong pretty nice.  But towards the top of the dome, its still stained black some what.

Gonna have to give it a full treatment one day with simple green, alcohol, salt, some sort of scrubbing device, etc...  But atleast it doesnt smell like a res bomb now.

Add a little crushed ice and a drop or 2 of dish soap and it will work faster. That's how we cleaned the coffee pots in the restaurant we used to work at... less the alcohol

whoa now, smoking ressie kicks ass... when im in a rut and don't got any herb, i boil my glass pieces and the slider from my bong, run a pipe cleaner through it a few times to pull all that gooey ressie out, let it dry for a day (the fridge helps in this task) and toke up straight ressie...  Shit gets me wicked stoned and its a nice treat, change of pace.. obviously the mean green is better but desperate times call for desperate measures!!!

about four months ago i pulled out the bong and packed a cone, tryed to rip it but no air came threw, took my bowl out and look down the stem it was packed full of resin, cleaned it all out, packed it all together sold it for $30 to a mate who loves eatin resin befor a party, (fuck that!!) and went and bought some reall herb.

I just laugh when I see people buying the 420 cleaner for 6 bucks a bottle when all it is is rubbing alcohol and kosher salt.
