So all of the longer older posts go on forever with endless posts from members that dont post anymore.  Id say there are a dozen people who post regularly.  So, what happened to everyone else?

people post once in a while, a lot of people are away on vacation or left for school.... we have a few dozen regulars and then people who'll post once or twice every month or so.. it sucks man, i wish we had 20,000 active members... i'm trying my best to keep posting every day to generate conversations to get more people to register and join in the discussions... i think this site has huge potential... we just need to get over the hump we're stuck behind now...and a full page ad in High Times may be the answer....but i gotta start saving for that because i need to pay for 2009-2010 hosting + fees for using the FTP program i have to upload / maintain the website.. so i'm going to need a few thousand dollars to get it really going... but time is on our side... every day we get a few new members and every month we'll get someone who'll start posting once or twice a week, etc.  just gotta have a big staff and big core of regulars who are willing to help keep this site alive and kicking and that in turn will allow us to grow huge!

I've seen other sites crash and burn because of lack of interest or a few people monopolizing the forums.  I love this site and it's become a part of my daily routine to read and post.  I try to think of interesting things to post and encourage newbies to get more involved.  I know I've stepped on a few nerves, especially when it comes to politics, and for that I appologize.  I now avoid stating those opinions as they seem to be at odds with most everyone else here and I wouldn't want them to discourage others from posting and becoming involved.

You're doing a fine job Ills.  You'll get there.

thanks muddy, yeah i have stopped trying to be rude or argumentative regarding politics and i'm glad you're doing the same and we can discuss this issues in a civilized manner and even if you disagree it's fine, it's nice to hear both side of the argument and to have a civilized debate.

You're welcome.  Couldn't agree more.

i'll change it back so you can.......... 75% of the guests are just search engine bots updating their database records.  only about 25% are humans...

I did that for a month or so before I started posting.  Lots of good stuff to read here if you have the time.

maybe 1/6th are... but unique visitors is what really matters and we're getting over 20,000 a month.
